In 1998, she moved back to Sioux Falls and worked at area companies before beginning her career with Orion Foods in 2006.
A fabulous work leader, she loved her career as Quality Assurance Technician; she cherished time spent working beside her Orion Team.

They later moved to the Tyndall area, where he attended country school and later Tyndall High School through his sophomore year.
As a young girl, she loved following her dad around the farm, doing chores and helping out in any way that she could.
In her free time, Barb liked sewing and doing embroidery work.
She adored her grandchildren and was proud of each and every one of them.
